Meet Kerris Lacy — The Heart Behind De Lacy at Home

Hello, I'm Kerris Lacy, the founder and candle maker behind De Lacy at Home. Based in the beautiful market town of Beverley in East Yorkshire, I hand-pour every single candle in our collection from my studio at 2 Dyer Lane — just a short walk from the historic Beverley Minster.

My journey into candle making began over 30 years ago during my career in the beauty industry. I've always believed that the little things in life are what matter most — a beautifully scented room, a thoughtful gift, a moment of calm in a busy day. That belief is woven into every product we create.

Why Soy Wax?

Every De Lacy at Home candle is made using 100% vegan soy wax. Unlike traditional paraffin candles, soy wax is plant-based, renewable, and burns cleaner and longer. We package everything in eco-friendly glass vessels crafted from recycled materials, because we believe luxury and sustainability should go hand in hand.

We're a small, independent business and proud of it. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using a traditional single-pour method that ensures consistent fragrance distribution and a perfect burn every time.
